One of the possibilities of collecting your train ticket is by delivering the ticket at the hotel of your stay. But how is identity verification taken care of in this situation?

if your agency promises you to deliver the ticket to your hotel, then you will get the paper ticket, thus you don't need to worry about the verification. With the paper ticket , you can get onboard direclty.
