About:Beijing Travel

Hi, I'm looking for trains from Nanning to Beijing.

Lonely Planet also says that there're bullet trains which take about 4 hours. U mentioned the time also. But could u tell me the starting time from Nanning plz? I searched in chinatrain but they just shows nomal trains, abd the duration time for normal trains as they shows is more than 25 hours, not about 9 hours as u show here. Can u clarify this? Thanks

It is around 2,566km by rail between the two cities, so even the high speed train won't make it in 4 hours. As I know, there are only normal trains for the route by now. The high speed trains will be put into use in the coming Aug. I just tried to search the train route in this website and no high speed ones with 9 hours' travel shows up.

Thanks Alice!
I realized such a mistake I made right after I posted the question, as actually I mistook Nanning and Nanjing. The route mentioned in the article is Nanjing, and I thought it was the same as Nanning, which is the place I'll start in China (it's closed to Vietnamese border and I'm from Vietnam). To my research, from NanNing, trains take about 25-29 hours to BJ :(
