About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in same departure city, am I eligible for the 72 hours transit in Shanghai?

Hi. I'm flying MNL - PVG and on the way back, I am flying PVG - HNL with a layover in MNL. The layover is 20 hours long.

So your whole itinerary is MNL-PVG-MNL-HNL, right? If so, you are not qualified for 72 hours free transit.
