About:Embassy & Consulates of Thailand in China

how long it will take to get thailand visa ?

i am from pakistan, living in shanghai, i am going to pakistan transit through bangkok, can u tell me how long it will take to get it from consulate in shanghai, and what are the requirements,

Masaud, the Thai embassy doesn't specify how long it takes. You may contact them by calling 021 6288 3030 to learn about this. The required documents are:
1. a copy of booking order or confirmation letter of your connecting air ticket
2. visa for the third country if necessary
3. a bank deposit proof which proves you have at least 1600 RMB in your account
4. a guarantee letter from your employer. It contains the name of your employer's company and a stamp too.
5. a passport, filled application form and a passport size photo.
6. your resident permit (original and copy versions).

thank you Jim for this useful information, I want to ask another question, if my transit is less than 12 hours in Bangkok , do I need a G type for that? I will stay inside the airport at specific are, no immigration to Thailand, right? but if so I have another problem that is, I am going from china to Pakistan through Thailand but not the same airline, first one is Chinese airline and other one is srilankan airline, and for that i need to get boarding pass again after immigration right ? kindly guide me how I will deal with this situation thank you so much

Masaud, I am not sure if you are required one. I think you should contact he Thai consulate in Shanghai to confirm this.
