What is the best transport for 8 persons from Pudong Airport to Seven Heaven Hotel around 9pm?

You can take the subway line 2 from the airport and get off at the East Nanjing Road. Get out from the Exit 4 and walk westwards about 400 meters to your hotel.

Thank you for the direction.

The problem is passengers travelling in Line 2 from Pudong Airport to Nanjing Road has to alight in Guanglan station to change to longer coaches. The last train from the airport to Guanglan station is 9:00pm and we only arrived in SH on 8:30pm. Most likely we wiil not be able to make it on time.

No, it is not true. The last train from the airport to Guanglan Road leaves at 22:00, so you can still catch it.

Besides, as you are navigating in a group, I recommend you reserve a pick-up service. Then a van will wait for you timely and take you to the hotel exactly. It would be very covenient!

Dear Marco, you are right, the last train from the airport to Guanglan Road leaves at 22:00.
My group managed to catch the last train to Nanjing Road. We left our luggage at the airport baggage deposit service.
