When submitting a tourist visa application to the centre in London, do you need to be present?

My boyfriend is travelling there to submit both our applications together but I cannot get the time off work to go with him. I've tried to check on their website but can't find anything. Can someone help?

If you boy friend go there to apply, you do not need to do it. You can ask him as your represetative to apply for you.
