Questions regarding submitting our visa applications at the SF Chinese Consulate General Office

Questions:
1. Can we make an appointment to deliver our Visas to the Consulate Office?
2. Can we submit a Pre-Paid FedEx return envelope for getting our Visa and Passports returned to us in Nevada or do we have to pick them up in person?
3. Will we be notified when the Visa Application is completed?
4. How long to you hold the completed Visa Applications to be picked up?

1. You don’t need to make an appointment. Just go to the consular office to submit all documents after filling out the online application form.
2. Mailed applications are not accepted, and mailing back service is not available, either, so you need to pick up your visa in person. Or you may entrust someone to pick it up for you.
3. The visa officer will inform you during your on-site application whether it is successful or if additional or resubmitted materials are needed.
4. About 4 working days.
