How much RMB (CNY) and Australian dollars can I take to China

I have converted Australian dollars to RMB (CNY) totalling 30,000RMB. I now learn this is too much. I will be staying for 1 month.
How much RMB and Australian dollars can I take with me.

20000 RMB and 5000 USD separately. 5000 USD equals 5282 AUD. So you can take 20000 RMB and 5282 AUD into China.
