About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

wanting to apply for 3month chinese tourist visa in Seoul.

I am currently in shanghai on X type that is valid until sept 1. I also have a year ticket valid until june 2015. I would like to apply for Tourit type for 3months. As i cannot apply for one in China i will go to Seoul. Can i apply for 3month chinese Tourist one in Seoul? how long would it take if i get it fast tracked. I am from Australia.

It may be hard for you to apply the Tourist type in Seoul, because as you are not Korean, you need to show your ARC in Korea when applying.
You can go to apply in Japan through travel agency or apply in Thailand.

Usually, the processing days are around 4 days. The express service takes around 2 to 3 days if your requirements for the express service is accepted.

thanks for the response. I have contacted the CVASC and they told me i need to apply tourist visa through local travel agent in Seoul. Would this be correct? i am just trying to find a travel agent in Seoul who would do his service and speak english.
