when is rush hour on the beijing subway?

I am planning to take the  subway #1  and #5 line.  With new security at the subway stationswould I need to have my luggage scans and checked?Do you recommend taking the subway with luggage?

The rush hour of BJ subway is about 07:00 - 09:00 in the morning and 17:00 -19:00 in the afternoon.No matter what subway line you take, you have to have your luggage scanned and checked.If your luggage is not too heavy, it won't be troublesome for you.
