About:Beijing Capital International Airport

I'm arriving in Beijing this Sunday and have a few hours between flights - from 9:15am til 16:50

Any recommendations?
Is it worth getting the transit visa and going out for a quick stroll and perhaps see something?

Yes, it is worth to have a transit visa for a short visit. You can experience the Airport Express train first and head for the Tiananmen Square and nearby Forbidden City for a visit. After that, go to the famous pedestrian - Wangfujing for some shopping and tatsting local snacks.
