About:China Transit Visa

I am a traveling to Taipei, Taiwan and stopping at Guangzhou

Hello,
My final destination is Taipei. I am a Chilean citizen currently living in Canada under a work permit Visa and will fly to Taiwan in October. My flight stops at Guangzhou airport and I will like to know if I need a transit one to entry China?

If you stay in Guangzhou for less than 72 hours, the transit one is not needed. If you stay there longer than that, you should apply one with your onward air (train or ship) ticket with confirmed date and seat to the destination country or region wity passport, application form and your work permit in Canada.
