Is A Visa Required?

Hi, I am a US citizen currently visiting the Pnilippines. I intend to join a cousin who lives in Hongkong for a visit to Xiamen, Fujian for a few days next week. Is it required, if so, how do I go about doing it? Thanks for your help!

For entering China, you need a L type with single entry.
If you are in Philippines, you need to try to apply with your proof of employment/study or other occupational status and the officer will make the final decision on a case-by-case basis. You must also submit a photocopy of the Philippine visa/immigration entry stamp on your passport.
