Are you sure about the north gate of Forbidden City being closed? It was open last week the day I was there...

You must misunderstand that. The ticket office of this gate is closed, but the gate itself is open as an exit for all visitors.0

Ok. Thanks. It says visitors can only enter through the south gate, and I have twice, but I also know I have entered from another place which wasn't the south or north gate...0

Really? But the info on the official website of this palace says that the only entrance is Meridian Gate (South Gate) and visitors can get out from two exits: North Gate and Donghua Gate.0
