About:Soft Sleeper

Be together in the same cabin, tickets already booked online for an overnight trip

We have booked online 4 soft sleeper tickets.
It is an overnight trip and we would like to be together in the same cabin. We know that tickets are given randomly, but how can we make sure to stay together? Can you give us any suggestion?

if you find you are not in the same cabin, you can try to communicate with other passengers to see if they are willing to exchange berth with you.

There's no chance to be sure in advance (for example by asking to the ticket office before train departure)?

you can tell from the berth number on your tickets. Usually there are 36 beds in a soft sleeper cabin, and they are numbered from 1 to 36. Each cabin has four berths, so it is easy for you figure out whether you are in the same cabin from the berth number.
