You want to apply for Tourist single entry for visiting China?
If so, the fee is LE150. You need to provide your passport, application form with recent taken photos, round trip air tickets to China, hotel booking confirmation letters in China for your application.

For the budget for 10 days, it is a litte bit to count. Generally speaking, for hotel in Beijing, the fare is around 300RMB per night for budget ones. For the transportation, the fare is around 200 to 300RMB. For shopping, it is a little bit to tell, because it depends on what kinds of items you want to buy.

For budget hotels, the Hunting Hotel or Home Inn are suggested, because of the reasonable price.
