Q1: Need to apply visa ? from Malaysia or apply at border? Since you only stay around HK & Macau for around 8 days, you can just use your passport to travel. For entering China, you need a tourist type and you need to apply in your country. You need to provide the round trip tickets to China and hotel booking confimation letter in China for application. You are suggested enter China from HK, if you just want to visit Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
