I do not have a arc since I do not need it, and I can stay up to 6 months in korea enjoy the exemption policy as a canadian. and also I have had a chinese visa within the last 2 years in my old passport however it was destroyed when I applied for a new passport..Is there no way to apply for another then? According to the rules, if you can provide the legal staying proof, you can try to apply for it.

It is suggested to consult with the CVASC for detail information. The contact information of Seoul (Seoul Square) is 1670-1888 / 02-6260-8888. I am sure you can get what you want from them. I think your previous visa to China maybe helpful.
