About:China Customs Declaration

What's the situation with bringing my laptop, digital camera, sound recording equipment and tripod?

should I carry these with me as hand luggage or checked luggage?

Tom, you definitely can bring your laptop, camera and sound-recording equipment on board as your carry-on lugguage. But I am not sure about the tripod. Sometimes, the airlines may ask you to take your tripod as checked luggage.
