About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Do i need to buy tickets for airport taxis in Guangzhou?

Hi,
I will be taking airport taxi to my hotel at chimelong resort. Is that possible? Also, because will have 2 large suitcases, will need larger car than regular sedan. Will i need to buy prepaid taxi tickets (like in thailand and malaysia?), then join a designated taxi queue or just go straight to the street and flag one taxi?

It is possible to take a taxi from the airport to Chimelong Resort, but the taxi fee will be so high, because the Chimelong Resort is about 55 to 60km to the airport.

The regular taxi is enough, I think. You do not need to prepaid the taxi tickets before board it. The taxi fee is paid when you need to get off taxi and the fee is charged on the meters.
