About:China Visa Application in UK

I need to apply for a Hong Kong Dependent Visa from the UK.

Is this only done in person at the London Chinese Embassy? And is there anywhere I can find the fees?

Fee is $160. You have to submit your application to Chinees embassy in London. Or you can send documents to HK and ask your family/relative to handle your application from HK immigration department directly.
