what's wrong with my tracking number?

what does it mean if a seller as sent me tracking number and after few days it says expired next to the tracking number

Tim, can you write down your tracking number here? Then I may help you find out what happened. Usually, it just reminded "no tracking results" if there is something wrong with the tracking number.
