can I buy train tickets at the station?

Can I buy the tickets at the station on the day itself? There are 4 of us. We want to travel from Shanghai to Hangzhou on 7August 14

yes, you can.
but i suggest that you buy at least 1 day in advance so that you can leave at the time you plan to.
