No, it is not typhoon season in Dec. Actually, the typhoon season is usually from June to Sep. sometimes till Oct. At that time, I suggest you have fun at Disneyland Resort, Ocean Park and the peak. Also Tsim Sha Tsui/Avenue of Stars, Stanley Market and Aberdeen are worth your time.
