May I know the requirement for photograph for China visa? I hold Malaysian passport.

Must the photograph be in white background? Could it be in blue background? Must the photograph show both sides of my ears?

It is just a colour passport photo (bare-head, full face) against a light background (size: 48mm x 33mm), according to China CVASC branch in Malaysia. So you'd better take one in white background. The CVASC branch doesn't specify if the ears should be shown.
