About:China Transit Visa

Enough time for transfering

Hi, I'm a U.S. citizen flying from Bangkok to Shanghai and then going to Phom Pen Cambodia. My tickets are within 3 days..... However, I arrive at 5pm and my flight leaving the third day leaves at 8pm. Technically I would slightly over the 72 hours. Will that cause me a problem, or is it no big deal... Please advise...
Thanks

Hi, I think your itinerary may not be considered as a direct transit since they are very close in the same region. Also it is not allowed if the stopover is longer than 72 hours.
