About:China Visa Exemption

Do you need to show to Imm Officer both hotel booking and confirm outbound ticket to be approved ?

I am holding Canadian passport. Chinese visa office used to ask visa applicant to show confirmation of hotel booking, air ticket. With this visa exemption, when we arrived in the airport do we need to show these documents ? Can we arrive in PVG but departing from SHA ?

Thanks,
Jojo

You will come to China for a visit or just making transfering?
If you plan a visit, you need to apply L type with both of your hotel booking and confirmed round trip air tickets. Once you get L, you do not need to show confirmation of hotel booking at the airport.
If you just have a transfering, only your passpot, the certificate to the third country and onward flights ticket are enough.
In either situation, you can arrive in PVG and leaves from SHA.
