is it possible to complete tianmen heaven door in half day ?

Reach Zhangjiajie at about noon. is it possible to plan a half day trip to Tianmen Heaven Door. Hotel stay is at ZJJ Bajie Ren Wen Hotel. How long does it takes to travel there ?

Yes, it is possible. I am not clear which transportation you will take to get to ZJJ, but you can take local bus or a taxi to Tianmenshan cable car station near local railway station. Then you can go on to Tianmenshan by cable car, which takes around half an hour!
