About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am thai and I'm traveling from bkk to lax with layover in Guangzhou. Can I visit the city?

Do I need a visa? If so how much?

If your stopover is less than 24 hours in China, you can apply for a free stay permit after arrival at the airport if you want to visit the city.
