Beijing - transit visa on arrival?

Hello, I would just like to double check. I arrive at Beijing airport Tuesday, 11:20 am. I leave Friday at 9:00 am for New York (That is less than 72 hours between departures) Do I need to prepare anything beforehand, or can I just get the transit type on arrival at Beijing? I already have accommodation booked.
