About:Beijing Weather in December

China in December / January

I'm from Sydney & would like to know if it might be to cold to travel in December / January. I don't mind a little cold ?

Yes, it will be cold for most of the places in China and the coldest time is around the Jan. except some places on Hainan Island. The temperatures in many places are below zero.
Down jacket and thich sweaters are necessary for all the places in the north part of China. For south China, thick sweaters and thick coats are needed.
