About:China Customs Declaration

Can i bring a pendant as a gift to my friend to China? If i bring an amount of CNY 22,000 (buy wedding ring there propose marriage), is it fine?

the Pendant contain 9k or 9 karat gold contains 38% gold.

Yes, you can take that pendant into China. If you take more than 20000 RMB, I suggest you deposit it in your bank account or as a traveler check. When you arrive in China, you can withdraw your money at Chinese banks.

Yes, it's ok if you carry less than 20000 RMB in cash.
