About:China Customs Declaration

I'm travelling to china and a friend asked me to bring cassava. Can I bring it? If yes, do I need to declare?

There is no problem if you bring dry cassava in sealed bags. Of course you needn't declare it. However, you can't bring fresh cassava into China.
