Do I need a visa for either Hong Kong or Beijing?

Hello,

I am a Colombian citizen with a US Green Card.

In November, I will be going to Hong Kong for five days. I will then travel to Australia for 8 days. On the way back to the United States, I have a 10 hour layover in Beijing.

Also, would I be able to leave the airport in Beijing to tour?

Thanks

No, it is not necessary for both Beijing and HK. You enjoy free stay in HK for 90 days, as well as free transit in Beijing for a stay no more than 24 hours. You only need to apply for a free transit permit after arrival at the Beijing airport if you plan to go out got a tour.
