how are the 72 hours calculated?

Is it 72 hours from inbound flight to outbound flight?Or...three full days starting at midnight on the day of your arrival? I was told that this was the case in Guangzhou but I want to use this at PEK.Thanks

Yes, only Guangzhou allowes this from midnight. I am sure that the 72 hours in Beijing are calculated based on your flights' scheduled arrival and departure times.
