About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

how are the 72 hours calculated?

Is it 72 hours from inbound flight to outbound flight?
Or...three full days starting at midnight on the day of your arrival? I was told that this was the case in Guangzhou but I want to use this at PEK.
Thanks

Yes, only Guangzhou allowes this from midnight. I am sure that the 72 hours in Beijing are calculated based on your flights' scheduled arrival and departure times.
