About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Chinese Working Visa Issued In Japan

Hello,
I am a German citizen living in Beijing, currently getting the paperwork (from company, Chinese authorities, health check...) done to be able to apply for a Chinese working Z / residence permit. I will travel to Japan soon and therefore would like to ask if the Chinese embassy in Tokyo does issue such working Z or only regular tourist /
business type? Thanks in advance!

Currently, it is ok for you to apply in Japan, but you can try to contact a local travel agency for the latest requirements if possible. China now is strict about application in a third country.

Tyler,
Can you please tell us what agency you used there? Most important.
All the answers to call the embassy, 99% of the time you will get the letter of the law answer. NO but most agencies have an in and can get it done. I was getting mine in Korea for a long time. but they have a new consulate now and cant do at the moment. So ANYONE now where, what country and what agency they used, PLEASE let us know.
