Do I need a double entry visa for China?

We will be spending 3 days in Bejing, then boarding a cruise ship and sailing to Shanghai, where we will dock for 1 day, do we need a double entry one? Also what will it cost, we are Canadian citizens. Also how many pictures are needed and what size? Thanks

Yes, I think you need a double entry one. You need to provide a passport photo taken in recent six months. It costs 108.90 Canadian dollars.
