Exchanging RMB to USD

I am going back home to America in a few days, and I have been trying to find out if there is a limit to the amount of RMB you can change to USD at the PVG Airport in Shanghai. Is there is a limit? Or can you exchange up to the customs limit that America allows?

Jay, there is a limit on how much USD you can exchange from RMB. It's 5000 USD per day. According to the customs, foreigners can only take as much as 5000 USD in cash when then enter or exit China.
