must the marriage certificate be notarized by a notary public or in the chinese embassy in nigeria ?

i'm a nigerian and would like to apply for a family visa to visit my wife who is residing in china. Our marriage is registered in Nigeria. where and how to notarize the marriage certificate and what are the requiered documents?
