About:Beijing Subway Line 2

What doesit mean by "inner ring" and "oyer ring" on line 2 in Beijing?? The map only shows 1 ring??

As I know, it means that the rail has two traits: the inner train runs clockwise and the outer ring train runs anticlockwise. Both of them are ring lines: the inner one's terminus is Jishuitan and the outer one's terminus is Xizhimen.

As I know, both of the inner ring and the outer ring runs in a full loop, but ones are in clockwise, while the others are in anitclockwise.
