Multiple entry Chinese visa for a UK passport holder

Hi, I'm a UK passport holder and staying in Singapore. I'm going to China. I like to apply for multiple entry one. Can I do it directly with Chinese Embassy in Singapore or must I go through an agent to apply? How much does a multiple entry one cost for a UK passport holder? thank you in advance for your quick reply.

If you apply in Singapore, you need to provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in Singapore (PR, WP, EP, STP, DP or SVP). Yes, you can apply directly from the CVASC branch in Singapore. However, there is no guarantee that you can get what you want successfully. It's the consular officer's call. Some agencies may be more powerful. I mean they are likely to help you apply successfully.
