Chines Acrobats and Chinese Opera in Beijing

We are a family of three and will be staying at Double tree hilton hotel BJ, would like to go to a Chinese opera and also Acrobats, may be include dinner with it.... whats are the options and best prices to go either by taxi or train? also the best theatres, also best times to avoid rush hours,,this is for july 11,2014...thank you very much..regards Badria

Hi, Badria Jansz.
On July 11, there is only one BJ Opera Show in Chang'an Grand Theater and it starts at around 19:30 on that day.
For the acrobats, the Chaoyang Theather is suggested. The shows are on 17:15 to 18:15 and 19:15 to 20:30.

So if you want to see the shows in one day, you are suggested to go to Chaoyang Theather and then to the Chang'an Grand Theater. You are suggested to take a taxi from your hotel to the Chaoyang Theather and then to Chang'an Theather, since you have three people. The taxi fare from your hotel to Chang'an Theather is around 45 to 50RMB if you do not need the traffic jam. The taxi fare from Chaoyang Theather to Chang'an Theather is around 25 to 30RMB. Since July 11 is Friday, you are suggested to start from your hotel at least one hour and a half before the show time.

But I should remind you that both of the shows do not include the dinner. It is hard to find shows with dinners in BJ.
