I think the local Xiangxing Tea Restaurant at No. 6, Maixing Road, Huicheng District is a great place to taste the Cantonese food. For staying, you can live near Nanhu Park area in Huicheng District.

If so, it is suggested to have meals in Jinye Hotel at No. 3, South Eling Road.
For hotel, you can just live in the Jinye Hotel or the Super 8 Hotel (HZ General Bus Station Branch) at No. 9, South Eling Road.
