About:Beijing Capital Airport T2

Services within the International Departure area of T2 in Beijing Capital Airport.

I will be arriving on a flight from N. America in the evening. I need to fly to another international destination the same evening, but due to my visa can't go through customs, into China.

If I arrive from N. America at T2 and I fly out on Hong Kong Air (also T2) international flight, do I need to go through customs in Beijing?
If I arrive from N. America at T2 and fly out on an international flight from T3, do I have to go through customs in Beijing?
Do I need to pick up my luggage upon arrival at T2?
Can I check in for a connecting international flight within the international departure area of T2?
Are there food services within the international departure area of T2?

Whichever terminal you will transfer to another flight, you have to go through the immigration transfer desk in the airport. But there is no visa problem at all. Passengers transferring in the airport within 24h and not going out of the airpport are exempt from visa. Don't worry!

You should consult your first airline whether you take the luggage check-through service. If yes, your luggage will be directly transported to the final dstination, no need claim nor check in at the airport. If not, you have reclaim your luggage.

Yes, food serviece is available at the international departure area.
