About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'm a U.S. citizen.Can I fly to Beijing from Taipei and still request the 72 hour transit.

I will depart after 72 hours for Hong Kong

Yes, it is ok if you fly via Beijing back to USA or any third country.
