About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Leaving from Different Airports

Hi, I have a flight that arrives in Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and then a flight that leaves less than 72 hours later from Pudong International Airport. Would the 72 hour VISA apply in this case since they are in the same city?

Yes, sure. Free transit via Shanghai is different from other cities, and it is allowed to change airports.
