About:Xian Travel

Transportation from Xian to Various Places

I will be arriving in the city on 2 July 2014 and would like to enquire on transportation from XA to various destinations:

- Are there any direct buses or trains running to Zhangjiajie?
- Is it nearer to travel to Yuntai Mountain from Luoyang or Zhengzhou?
- Are there buses running from Zhengzhou or Luoyang to Pingyao Ancient City?

1. There is no direct train between the two cities, but the direct bus exist. If you want to take a train, you need to transfer in Changsha. If you want to take the bus, you can go to the XA Bus Station to take the only one bus for ZJJ at around 16:30.

2. The distance from Luoyang to Yuntain Mountain is similar with the one from Zhengzhou to the mountain, so you can travel on your own plans.

3. As I know, from Zhengzhou, there is no bus and train to Pingyao. From Luoyang, there is only one train 1166/1167 to Pingyao, but I am not very sure about the bus issue. You can try to ask the bus station's stuff to confirm it.
