About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Do you need a visa if you have an accreditation issued from China as a sports official for an event

We have been told that if we are going to officiate at an important sports event in China and will have accreditation issued for the event, we do not need to get one for entry into China from the UK. We have not been able to find anywhere that shows there is exemption in this circumstance and we don't want to turn up in China with just our accreditation and be refused entry.

Hi, you are advised to apply for a Business F with the accreditation issued from China in advance. I am not sure where you got such information about exemption, but it not true. At least, you are required to apply for an F on arrival at port showing the accreditation. Anyway, it works only in emergency.
