About:Beijing Capital International Airport

PEK TO 161 HOTEL

Would someone tell me how to get from the Capital Int'l Airport to 161 hotel in Beijing? I'll be arriving about 4:30 pm during rush hour, so taking the metro would be difficult. And I can't decipher the airport bus lines.

My other question is when riding on a bus, how would one know the stops on the way? For example bus no. 879 to Changling or Dingling of Ming's Tombs. Are there announcements made in English, or are their route maps that one can obtain online?

You can take the airport shuttle bus line 3 to Chaoyangmen Station and then take taxi to your hotel. You can ask the conductor on the bus to ask you to get off the bus.

The announcement in BJ buses are in bilingual, so please do not worry. The routes maps in the buses are written in both Chinese and English. You will not miss any of the station.

You may try to find at the newspaper kiosks along the road. Or you can go to a bookstore such as BJ Book Building in Xidan area.
