Condo or nice apartment for rent in Haikou

Most websites for condo rental is in Chinese, so may be difficult for you. Anyway, I know you can rent at Qingshuiwan Serviced Apartment or Haitang Xingzhe Hostel at No. 54, Xin Jumin Road, Haitang Bay Longhai, but not clear about the cost. The former has better facilities by the way.

As i am more to city kind of person and currently working in Bangkok, not sure how;s the life over there? Should be very boring?

I think your life in that city will be colorful.
It is a tourism city with beautiful natural scenery. Also you can find many bars in that city at night. So I sm sure you will fall in love with that city.
